Observation details
Three birds on the far side of the marsh were flying low over the marsh in a circular pattern. They would hover and dip into the water, similar to the flight of a Bonaparte's Gull. Black head and body, gray wings and back, long wings. It was hard to judge size until two Blue-winged Teal flew close to them and the wingspan was nearly the same.
