Observation details
Came out of the house to see why the birds were causing a ruckus. Rescued a fledging from a village kid who had picked up one of the chicks. The first batch of these birds did not survive as the snake had swallowed its eggs. If these three chicks can survive the first week of this harsh environment I suppose they might grow into adults. The immediate danger is a family of cats that live in this area.
