Observation details
I came across this singing male Nashville Warbler. I may be completely wrong in my thinking, but it seemed like it was trying to establish a territory and attract a mate rather than migrating. He sang vigorously while moving from perch to perch during the time that I observed him. He was still moving about and persistently singing twenty minutes later when I passed by the area again. Definitely the "Bird of the Day" for me. Very interesting encounter.
