Observation details

*Rare. First heard singing along Briggs Brook (outflow of main pond) beyond fence: "Sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet!". After much patience and perseverance, able to confirm visually as the bird inspected a rotten tree stump on the west side of the brook: Predominantly yellow with beady black eyes, powder blue wings, and a golden glow of orange around face as seen with breeding males. Have audio recording, will upload later. Given its location beyond the fence, please don't trespass or use playback to see this bird.
