Media notes
Taken a few minutes after the first Waxwings appeared. This little one was fairly preoccupied with sampling berries than stuffing its beak. The odd one-out.
Observation details
This little beauty is one of my favorite birds. The Cedar Waxwings love to munch on the berries of our Cleveland Flowering Pear trees. Plus, much to my surprise, this flock of 20 is always fairly quiet. They are so beautiful and appear every winter.
