Observation details
Beautiful naked eye views in early morning sunlight. I first discovered this bird at approximately 6:30 am feeding on the ground along the edge of a hillside thicket. At first I thought I had viewed a Common Yellowthroat however after approximately 2 seconds I realized it was neither a Common Yellowthroat nor was it a Hooded and realized I was on a Kentucky. The bird then flew into a tree top and perched in the morning sunlight and started chipping away, a slow, very pronounced and loud chip with a relatively slow cadence of three chip notes lending itself to amazing unobstructed views. This is a confirmed sighting, photos attached.
