Observation details
Found by Craig D. who heard it singing. Bird was associating with Chipping Sparrows near the shrubby field on the SE side of the park, just east of the restroom building at the southern circular parking lot. Small sparrow with bright white supercilium, malar stripe, and median crown stripe. Tan auricular patch. Overall pale brown color. Vocalizing a three to seven note song, a low, flat “buzz-buzz-buzz”.
