Media notes

Song from a male foraging in low flowering trees along the road, usually only 10-15 feet up but staying in dense foliage and hard to see except when it moved. Several song types, some a simple series of buzzes, some with more sputtering elements in the middle, more similar to alternate song (e.g. 1:32-1:45, 2:22, etc.) Gave three loud flight calls from 7:34-7:36, but masked by loud goldfinches cavorting in the background.

Observation details

***Rare. Adult male foraging in flowering apples along road, singing frequently. Photos and recording.
