Observation details
In the trees by the heron pond where the great horned owls used to frequent pines in the NW corner then some herons were arguing and it moved to the single tree by the canal at the entrance to the park watching the go-karts. Feathers up the back of the neck I’m thinking juvenile? On ebird I only see five other records of wood stork in the Ft Walton Beach- Destin area. The last one recorded was Murray Cragin in 2017 at the Okaloosa county holding ponds.
