Observation details
This female Scissor-tailed Flycatcher was first discovered by another birder but I don't remember who. The bird attempted a nest with a Western Kingbird and was seen well into July of that year. The color was gray with a whitish underside. Under the wings were patches of crimson and the tail was long black, gray, white. Photos although bad are available of this bird.
