Observation details
This is a continuing bird that is foraging in Pool 11 mainly but has been seen in Pool 10 briefly (Leonatti). I saw it at dawn this morning in the corner of Pool 11 that is next to the Main Road and the One-Way Loop. A northern Harrier startled them and all the teal flew off across the marsh. I came back a half hour later and there were BWTE in the corner and the CITE was about 150 feet farther into Pool 11 from the Road. It was seen by both Kathleen Anderson and Jean Leonatti at different times this morning. This is an easy bird to see up close from inside your vehicle at 50 -100 feet for some great photos.
