Observation details

"Chandeleur" type gull – perhaps the same individual that has wintered along the Indiana lakefront (primarily at Michigan City) for the past few years, per Amar Ayyash. Large gull with slate gray back and upperwings, black primaries with 1 small white mirror, pale yellow/gray legs. Clean white head and underparts, white underwings.
