Observation details
Found by Alex Patia. Later observed also by Jonathan Batkin and Jeff Szabat. Considerably larger than Least Sandpipers and lighter in color. Fine brown streaking on breast, white, unstreaked flanks, black legs, bold white supercilium, black markings on grayish back, medium length, straight or very slightly decurved bill, folded wings extend slightly beyond tail. First thought to be White-rumped Sandpiper, but dark median feathers on tail/rump, rule it out.
