NOTES: A.M. NIGRESCENS. INDIVIDUAL NO.2 FOR THE DAY. Sex: 1 UNKNOWN BNA: Primary Song is heard as well as possibly the Tsip (tic) call. CZ 01/06/2004. [Six examples of Primary Song, as described in BNA account, apparently given by two different birds. The first (decapitated) and fourth songs were given by one bird, these of the same song-type as songs in LNS #15067 and 15069. The remaining four songs are of a similar song-type to those in LNS #15059, 15060, 15062, 15063, and 15069. I believe the "ticking" or "clucking" calls here were given by Porphyrula martinica (if not they were Gallinula chloropus), but I AM SURE they were NOT given by the sparrows. Quality changed from 2-3 to 2 (the three songs between 0:09 and 0:15 are not too bad) - CAM - 18 March 2005]. Habitat: Wetland, Marine, Salt Marsh.
