Observation details
Continuing bird. Initially found on the east side foraging in the low vegetation near the south end of the road. Several pictures taken. Some very poor audio recordings made when it was last seen across the water on the berm to the west. All black bird about the size of a BTGR. Large bill had a small ridge on the maxilla. Call was mostly a clear whistled “quee-lick.” Also made a few other calls I have rarely heard. Unfortunately, I was not able to record those calls.
