NOTES: ONE OF SEVERAL CALLS, AND VERY COMMON. THIS BIRD WAS FLITTING ABOUT WHILE CALLING. RESIDENCE IS AT EDGE OF A SCRUB-COVERED 'RESERVE'WHERE NO BUILDING IS PERMITTED, AND WHICH IS GOOD HABITAT FOR NATIVE AND EXOTIC BIRDS. A FLOCK OF THESE SLIVER-EYES WAS GOING THROUGH THE SCRUB SEARCHING FOR INSECTS ON THE PLANTS. FLOCKING CALL. 1.5KHZ HIGH PASS FILTER. Sound stimulation was (other): PLAYBACK. Response to playback: No response. Habitat: Scrub.
