A little background noise, but otherwise immaculate recordings. Bird < 4 meters from mic in (aspen? alder?) above recordist.
Observation details
Incredible cooperative flock, gritting right along the roadside. Lots of recordings, including some very good ones below. Photographed. Separated from other Evening Grosbeak types by the clear, descending flight call.
