Observation details
Use to be regularly seen but now occasionally spotted in this park as well as nearby Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. A large short-tailed chunky black bird, white wing patch; orange bill and distinctive yellow face wattles that wrap around the head; yellow feet; I first heard its loud, piercing two-note whistle "tee-ong" then found it high in a fruiting tree also filled with a mob of Blue Jays
