NOTES: SHORT, DRY, UPWARD RATTLE - SYNCOPATED. BIRD PERCHED IN EXPOSED PLACEATOP TREE. BIRD OFTEN SANG FROM THIS TREE. THERE WERE PROBABLY THREE PAIRS OF FLOWERPECKERS ALONG A60M SECTION OF THE FOREST ROAD. THEY HADVARIOUS CONSPICUOUS PERCHES,ALWAYS IN THE OPEN AND USUALLY AT THE TOPOF A TREE. BROADLEAF CLOUDFOREST; DAMP; STEEP SLOPES; DENSE UNDERCOVER MAINLY BAMBOO. Habitat: Cloudforest.
