Observation details
Based on photos, this is a female. Was visibly larger than Shikra or Besra and similar to Crested Goshawk in size. Not barred or streaked like Shikra, Besra, or Crested Goshawk plumages. Upperparts appeared greyish in field (in flight). In a couple of views, white supercilium visible, above darker area around eyes and cheeks. Throat appeared to have fine brownish streaks (not white like Northern Goshawk) and lacked mesial stripe. Barring on white underparts is very fine and grey. Finely barred underwing, more prominent barring on flight feathers. Secondaries broader than primaries. White undertail coverts extending down tail to less than half, and not fluffed out. Barring on tail prominent.
