Observation details

They were very busy this morning coming and going to the cliff face and buzzing around like a hive of bees, occasionally one of them entering a nesting hole in the cliff face. The winds were strong this morning and birds would make several approaches and aborted attempts to enter nesting holes before actually entering a hole. We have now established there are at least 7 nesting holes into which they enter. Unfortunately due to the inaccessibility of the nesting holes the only way to examine these potential nesting holes further would be by rappelling over the edge and none of us have the equipment, the skill nor the courage to do this!!
