Observation details
One heard on the road leading to the village, but we could not find it. At the village, we searched extensively for nests reported by other ebirders, without any luck. We asked villagers around, none knew the location of a nest. One lady knew people from the village who worked on the species, and some times later, we finally found one of them, called Nojine. He was very exited to have the opportunity to talk about the species to tourists, and he gladly showed us a nest about 1km from the village, occupied by a female. Nojine had a lot of knowledge on the species, from the weight of each sex, to the incubation time, etc. It is now clear for me that this species can be easily missed without a guide, so I suggest finding one if your time in the park is limited.
