Alerted by Jeff O'Connell's report this afternoon I decided to look back at some poor-quality shots but great enough for ID purposes. There may have a male there too but I'm going to play on the safe side and only add one female Greater Scaup. More robust, white patch on face, and a heavy nail. Female Lesser Scaup was close to it for a good comparison.
