Observation details

Medium-sized dark tubenoses flying acrobatically ("arcing") in high winds. Dark brownish above with faint silvery sheen on back and secondaries with slightly darker carpal bar forming hints of an "M" in certain light. Tail, face, and head brownish, bill black. Underside of primaries paler silver/gray. Many/most seen closely appeared to be in fresh plumage.
