Observation details
I recorded the Powerful Owl Territorial Call. The bird in the first recording (4:09am) was perched an unknown distance in the large eucalyptus trees at 70 degrees (NE) of my observation point. From the fundamental frequency of the call (500Hz) I believe the bird was a female. The bird in the second recording, (4:20am), presumably the same bird, was perched an unknown distance in the large eucalyptus and fig trees at 0 degrees (due N) of my observation point. Bird in second recording sounded further away.
