Observation details
An immature male hummingbird visited the second-story feeders and was seen only one time. It might have been an immature male of some Emerald (Chlorostilbon/Amazilia). Booted Racket-tail was proposed, but photos show glittering green throat and breast, gray thigh feathering that was not dense or profuse, and dark gray toes (not pale yellowish). Tail tip falls short of wing tips. If immature male Short-tailed Hummingbird (Chlorostilbon poortmani) has white-tipped outer rectrices like female, then by range and plumage, that may be what this bird is.
