Dusk Chorus, with several species calling. Rufous throated partridge, Mountain Bamboo partridge and a few other unidentified species including an owl.
Observation details
Based on the sound recording there may have been at least 3 or 4 birds and they moved closer to the mic at the end. They were at least 800-1000 feet higher up on the top mountain from where I was recording. Last part of the recording is where the tragopans were calling. This was one of the serenest moment of my life to hear the evening chorus. Luckily no insects were calling. There is an owl which hooed a couple of times and I am yet to identify. But there were numerous Rufous-throated partridges, at least a few Mountain Bamboo Partridges, and several other species which I cant recognise, one of them was a flycatcher.
