Observation details
Saw a Cooper's sitting on the ground right next to the driveway. I could see a small pile of what seemed to be all-gray feathers in front of him. I thought he'd caught and eaten a Junco. I watched him just sit there for about 10 mins. Then he started picking away at something under his feet. This turned out to be the last nibbles of his/her lunch. He sat there for about 20 mins total, before he started moving closer to the woodpile in the pictures. Just in the woodpile there are still white feathers from where he/she had sat and eaten a Pigeon on 2-12. After moving into the wood pile then he/she jumped up to the top of the fence. I really had no clear view of him with the camera at this point, but I got the best picture I could. He/she stayed atop the fence for about 10 mins and then was gone.
