Observation details
There were over one hundred of these egrets foraging in the mangrove swamp located to the west of the straight trail that leads past the bird blind and to the storm water ditch. The water level in that particular spot seemed to be very low. They were spooked by my presence, took off in alarm and flew towards the main lagoon where they circled once and then slowly returned to perch on the mangrove trees growing around the water's edge. I was able to snap the attached photos of them in flight, and because of their all-white plumage, I have called these images as a "blizzard of egrets."
