Top of the roost cavity tree and one of the places to always find this bird. The cavity is directly in front of the bird in the next photo.
Observation details
Continuing immature. Not much change from last visit. Photos reveal similar plumage, perhaps more crimson in the head and malar. Watching it visit suet stored on the large ash. Photos show this cashed suet clearly on the sunny side of the fractured branch. Very habitualized, sitting in the sun and preforming for me.
