Continuing, im male coming to feeder at private residence; the purple band just starting to show; paddle shape primaries, longer bill than RTHU; looked larger than the hummers it was around but these birds can be equal in size; more grayish sheen vs green topside; state bird!! Pics but can't make out the violet feathers in my photos
