Media notes

ocean noise interfering in background. This bird was visually confirmed as NSWO; all sounds in recording below to bird and not observer.

Observation details

Crazy sounds from this bird; perhaps some fainter solicitation calls from another bird nearby. This bird was super aggressive, nearly hitting me 3 or 4 times, perching in the open here and there, and even followed me for a bit. The bird barked once normally from close range, and the rest of the sounds were this bizarre mix. Note all sounds in recordings below are the NSWO and not the observer!
