Extremely rare, found yesterday at Quarry Lake by Benjamin DeHaven. Two birds grazing in a grassy field with Canada Geese. Slightly smaller than CANG with shorter, thicker neck. Upperparts cold gray with white feather edging; head dark brown shading to paler brown on lower neck and underparts; belly and undertail white; bold white flank stripe like GWFG. Legs pink; bill marked with black and pink. Both birds were unbanded and rear toes were intact.
