Observation details
Greater (rostrata) CORE briefly showed at feeders. Larger and much longer (they are quite long-tailed!) immediately was apparent as the bird perched beside a lightly-marked Southern (flammea) CORE. Extensive black goatee and larger and thicker bill apparent in the field and in photographs. A relatively pallid beast of a rostrata, it must be said! I've never seen one with such a light brown ground colour and such light streaking to the sides (all comments that of JPR).
