Observation details
After consulting with peers, we believe this to be a Red-necked Stint. A rare vagrant to Hawaii, with less than 20 records (Pyle Monograph). Buffy neck and bill too short for a WESA ruled out typical North American peeps, as well as a lack of webbing between toes. While at first thought to be a LIST, the white braces were not pronounced enough and throat too reddish to be Little Stint.
