NOTES: SERENADE OF INCUBATNG FEMALE, AN 'ALL IS CLEAR ASSURANCE'. DURING THE DAY MALE USUALLY PERCHED IN ONE OF THREE SPOTS NEAR THE NEST. THE MALE OTHERWISE WAS FEEDING NEARBY OR (POSSIBLY) RELIEVING AT THE NEST. DIFFICULT TO APPROACH THE GROUND, FITTED INTO THE CROTCH OF A SMALL SHRUBBY TREE. NEST WAS VERY WELL CAMOUFLAGED. INNER LINING OF CUP WAS OF FIBRES WITH CLAY OR MUD. THREE EGGS BEING INCUBATED. ML: Subject changed from Turdus fumigatus to T. leucomelas. Jay McGowan, 26Mar20201.
