Observation details
A few minutes after we arrived at the gazebo at Cabell Marsh, most of the geese flew away. Searching what geese remained, we soon spotted the bean-goose in the closest flock of geese, straight out. We had just a few minutes with it before the fog rolled in, backlit by bright sunlight, and we lost track of it. A very memorable bird after driving all night to meet up with John W, knowing it had not been seen the day prior but hoping it would be in view today.
