NOTES: Series of "Chiu-eet" calls given in circling, gliding flight over the microphone. Recorded in MS stereo atop a tundra- covered knoll with tall, dense tussock grass on the Seward Peninsula. Sound Devices 744T and MP2 with 80Hz HPF and Sennheiser MKH20 and MKH30. I filtered this recording in the studio with a ZSYS z-Q2 digital mastering equalizer at S-95.0 160Hz. Habitat: Tundra, Arctic Tundra.
