NOTES: Recorded in MS stereo along the shore of a pond on an open expanse of tundra surrounded by spruce trees near the limit of boreal forest on the Seward Peninsula. Prominent in this recording are Larus canus and Gavia stellata, segments from both were pulled for LNS 136389 and LNS 136390, respectively. The three segments of this cut are pulled from discs MJA228, 229, and 230, respectively. Sound Devices 744T with MP2 in flat and Sennheiser MKH20 and MKH30 microphones. Habitat: Tundra, Arctic Tundra, Pond.
