NOTES: Recorded on tundra in the foothills of the Kigluaik Mountains on the Seward Peninsula. Recorded simultaneously by Gerrit Vyn. The segment at 2:50 is, perhaps, the best, though there is a Calidris mauri vocalizing over the beginning of the C. canutus song. This segment starts with godwit-like calls from a female and then a male flies in singing. Sound Devices 744T with 160Hz HPF, Telinga Pro6 in flat. Habitat: Tundra, Arctic Tundra.
