Media notes
NOTES: Evening begins with a few males calling on small island in Ivindo River near Bawaka. Can hear hagedash ibis calling in background. Calling picks up with some good staccato buzzes as females visit males. After one staccato buzz, males goes silent and then recording includes protest sounds of female ("whaa, whaa") that always ends copulation in this species. Female then flies off causing nearby males to staccato buzz. Voice annotation follows female post-copulation sound. Habitat: River, Riparian.
