Media notes

NOTES: Recording of CNRS lek early in June-Aug lek season. Few males, lots of aggressive hacks and gasps, some "honking" due to low energy calling. Speeds up as evening progresses with some speedups and a few staccato buzzes in background. Some banging of mike and water sounds since recordings made from dugout canoe just offshore from lek in Ivindo River. Hagadash ibis scared out of their night roost toward end. Also got close to separate males to see if there were individual differences. Habitat: Rainforest, River.
