Continuing bird in the WMA. Working the edges of the marsh, flying from cattail stub to another, and often landing on iced over mud areas as well. Defined black head, with peaked crown, along with white belly that comes to a angled "peak" into the chest, along with white undertail area. Small, all-black colored bill. Bird also heard calling a simple, single chip note, repeatedly during its sallies along the vegetation edges.
