Observation details
Wonderful find by G. Parameswaran on 5th Jan. Thanks to his list I was able to spot this kingfisher perching on a dry branch looking out for it's prey in the flowing water below. I was able to take a photo using mobile & bino , however it was at long distance that the picture can only suggest the bird is perched. Ref photo attached .
