Media notes

NOTES: I played back to this bird almost from the onset of this recording session, but it didn't seem to get going at first. After a second attempt at playback, the bird was a bit more vocal in its response. It perched up atop the tallest shrub in this dry valley with thorn forest. There are several long segments of song. The best/cleanest signal starts at . Unfortunately, this cut is not without background cows and human noise from the town below. Response to playback: Normal song. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Thicket/Brush, Scrub.
