Observation details
Found by Jon Dunn -- First county record. I met Jon and Dave Quady at the causeway and they showed me the bird. Jon and I got closer and photographed the bird. The bird had a light colored throat and breast, black legs and a larger bill than a Least Sandpiper. It also had a bold supercilium and the bill was straight and did not come to a point like a Western Sandpiper. Jon also pointed out that there was no rufous color in the scapulars. The bird vocalized a couple of time when flying to a new location issuing a "churt" call.
