Observation details
Observed from Dee Knoch Road. Originally saw three swans that showed a more massive bill than a typical Tundra Swan. The bill showed no yellow and had a reddish color along the upper edge of the lower mandible. At one point one of the adults vocalized and it had a lower and more resonant sound than a Tundra Swan. Just afterwards, three more Trumpeter Swans flew in to join them from their prior location in the flooded field to the west (where the Tundra Swans were foraging). When they took off (three adults and three juveniles), they travelled together and headed northward over Fall River Mills towards Glenburn.
