Media notes

NOTES: Captured in real time A/D using Sound Devices 744T. Originally recorded with 24-bit, 48kHz. All songs in response to playback of own song. Bird came right in, flew across road and perched up, unseen, just above eye-level and gave these vocalizations for about ten minutes. A few spots in the second and third segment have crackling in the left channel as there was some moisture in this microphone capsule. If these sections are of interest, recommend summing to mono. Response to playback: Approach. Response to playback: Normal song. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Forest, Evergreen Forest, Thicket/Brush, Second-growth, Edge.
