Observation details
I could hardly believe it but I was lucky enough to be in the right place to observe two swallow tailed kites from the power line corridor that bisects the Pleasant Valley Road parking lot. The birds were initially observed with two turkey vultures but later were circling together over the powerline. The distinctive birds had white bodies and deeply forked tails. Photographs were taken and I will add several confirmation photographs tomorrow morning.
