Six males vocalizing from a water filled ditch at the edge of a dirt and stone parking area constructed at the Cayuga Nature Center property on Hammond Hill Road. There are two egg clusters present in the ditch near these calling males. About 30-40 meters away is a pond on the other side of the road that R. sylvatica typically calls from. Stereo microphone were placed within a half meter from these frogs, positioned such that the vocalizing animals appear left, right, and center. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Meadow, Roadside.
